Screens, keyboards, batteries, hinges and fans are stocked or ordered against your model, and most are a one to three day job door to door. We quote the whole repair up front, parts and labor together.
Slow machines are usually not worn out. A clean install, an SSD and a memory upgrade routinely make a five-year-old laptop feel new for a fraction of replacing it — and we will tell you honestly when a machine is not worth the money.

Getting ready
Before your laptop is collected
- Back up your files, or ask us to image the drive first — we can do that as part of the repair and it is the safest option for a machine with a spill or a failing disk.
- Leave the login password on the collection slip. We cannot test a keyboard, trackpad or display properly from a lock screen.
- Send the charger with it, especially for battery, no-power and overheating faults.
- If the laptop has been in liquid, do not charge it or switch it on. Book the pickup and leave it off — that alone saves a lot of boards.

Book a pickup
Call or send the quote form. We give you a two-hour collection window, usually the same day, and pick the device up from your home or office.

We repair it in house
Everything is opened, tested and repaired on our own bench. You get a flat quote by text before any work starts — free, whether or not you go ahead.

We deliver it back
Repaired, tested and returned to your door with 90 days on parts and labor. If anything is not right, we collect it again at no charge.
Questions
Before you book
Do you repair MacBooks as well as PCs?
Both. Screens, batteries, keyboards, spills and storage on Mac and PC laptops, including board-level work that most shops send away.
Can you recover files from a laptop that will not turn on?
Very often, yes. The free diagnostic tells us whether the drive is healthy, and we quote recovery separately before doing anything to it.
Is an SSD upgrade worth it on an older laptop?
On most machines from the last decade it is the single biggest speed improvement available, and it costs a small fraction of a replacement. We will say so if yours is the exception.
How long will you have my laptop?
One to three days for most repairs, depending on the part. If the machine is your livelihood, say so when you book and we will prioritise the bench slot.
